Big Bang Theory stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar have signed new three-year deals, which will take them up to the end of season ten.
Helberg and Nayyar, who play Howard and Raj respectively on the CBS sitcom, were the last actors to conclude contract negotiations with Warner Bros TV, meaning production for season eight will now go ahead today (August 6).
Negotiations were said to be difficult, as the pair sought parity with their co-stars.
While Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting will be earning at least $90 million over the next three years – including a salary of $1 million per episode – Helberg and Nayyar are expected to receive around $70 million each, reports Deadline.
The five original stars are thought to have parity on backend royalties, said to be more than 1%.
Galecki, Parsons and Cuoco-Sweeting were earning around $350,000 per episode last season, while Helberg and Nayyar took $125,000 and $75,000 per episode respectively.
