Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the biggest change in their model nomenclature since 1993. Back then the Stuttgart giants made the letters “C” and “E” prefixes on the badges of its small and midsize sedans, and now this latest naming strategy will introduce 11 all-new model names to be gradually phased in over the next seven years.

BMW‘s two-wheeled pedal-powered lineup is fortified with the addition of this new BMW Mountain Bike All Mountain. The Bavarian automaker opted to go with a powder-coated aluminum frame for the rugged build, incorporating hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano XT derailleur controlling 30 speeds, and a full sports suspension with a lock-out fork and four-pivot rear with anti-bobbing technology. The bike weighs in at 13.4 kg and comes in a matte black paint job with bright green accents. Unfortunately, the Mountainbike All Mountain isn’t available to residents of the U.S., but it is available for European delivery through the BMW Lifestyle online store.

The new WRX model will be made in a strictly limited production of 300 cars, with Subaru to open the order books on August 23 and stop accepting orders on December 23, 2013.

Like many other special edition Subarus, the WRX STI tS TYPE RA is characterized by the selection of colors, which in this case, includes a Pearl White, Tangerine Orange Pearl and the brand’s trademark blue hue, and a number of performance and styling extras.

In particular, the WRX STI tS TYPE RA gains new suspension pieces from STI including different struts and coil springs, a braking system from Brembo with gold-colored calipers (6-piston up front, 2-piston at the back), 18-inch black alloy wheels from STI, a more direct steering system, a front lip spoiler, special badges, new leather steering wheel and gear knob with red stitching, bucket seats and sill plates. In Japan, prices range from 4.41 million yen to 5.082 million yen (US$44,000 to US$51,000).
