Manhart revealed the MH3 V8 R Biturbo upgrade program for the BMW M3 Convertible. The Manhart MH3 MH3 V8 R Biturbo BMW M3 Convertible is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo engine taken of an X6M. Thanks to an updated ECU, the 4.4-liter V8 of in Manhart’s new M3 convertible develops 655 hp and a mind-numbing 975 Nm of torque.
With such a monster under your hood, it would be a shame not to remove the factory installed top speed limiter. Manhart’s V8 Biturbo M3 convertible can reach a top speed of 320 hp. Unfortunately, Manhart did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of their new M3 V8 biturbo. Apart from the new engine, Manhart’s M3 V8 is equipped with bespoke stainless steel downpipes, Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust system with a 200 cpsi sports catalytic converter and four 90-mm tail pipes. The MH3 V8 R Biturbo is fitted with upgraded brakes with 396-mm discs on the front axle (also taken from the X6M) and 374-mm ones on the rear axle. The 6-speed automatic gearbox of the X6M has also been transferred to the MH3 V8 R Biturbo, which has also received a differential lock.
The Manhart MH3 V8 Biturbo is fitted with a new hood with GTR air intakes, modified mirror caps, a rear diffuser, and BMW performance carbon flaps. The convertible sits on 20-inch alloys and a KW V3 suspension system. Manhart did not disclose the price of the MH3 V8 Biturbo yet.
